Handcrafted & One of a Kind

Each piece in this set is carefully hand-shaped, with attention to detail in every curve. From the first cut to the final sanding, these tools are crafted for those who appreciate thoughtful design and quality craftsmanship. The slight imperfections in the shape only add to their character, making each piece unique in its own right.

A Slow & Intentional Process

Each piece goes through a thoughtful process of creation:

  • Day 1-2: Shaping and smoothing the handles and utensils.

  • Day 3-4: Adding the fine details, including the carving and finishing touches.

  • Day 5-6: Glazing each piece with care and preparing for firing.

  • Day 7: Firing to set the glaze, followed by a gentle, soapy bath for a perfect finish.

Acknowledgement of Country

At Whistle & Page, we respectfully acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the lands, skies, and waters where we live, work, and create — in particular, the Ngunnawal and Ngambri Peoples of the Yass Valley, NSW. We honour their enduring connection to Country, and pay deep respect to Elders past and present, as well as emerging leaders carrying stories, knowledge, and culture forward. We recognise the unbroken strength, creativity, and wisdom of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples, and the continuation of cultural, spiritual, and educational practices that have existed on this land for tens of thousands of years. Sovereignty was never ceded. This always was, and always will be, Aboriginal land.
