Private Pottery Workshop Canberra & Yass | Team Building, Hens & Group Events
The Maker’s Table
A private pottery workshop for gatherings, celebrations and team building
Two hours. A shared table. No notifications.
Just hands in clay, conversation unfolding, and something taking shape between you.
The Maker’s Table is a private pottery workshop designed for connection—ideal for team building, corporate events, hens parties, birthdays, kitchen teas, and end-of-year celebrations.
Held in Murrumbateman—perfectly positioned between Canberra and Yass—it’s an easy, scenic drive that already begins to feel like stepping away from the day-to-day.
Inside the Whistle & Page studio (a little TARDIS-like, in the best way), time softens. People settle in. And before long, everyone is completely absorbed in what they’re making.
No experience needed. No pressure to get it “right.”
Just a thoughtfully guided, hands-on experience—co-designed with you.
A Private Workshop, Designed Around You
Every Maker’s Table experience is shaped with intention.
Whether you’re planning a corporate team building session, a hens celebration, or a meaningful gathering with friends, we’ll create something that suits your group, your pace, and your reason for coming together.
Your session can be:
Open-ended (guests follow their own ideas)
Lightly guided (a shared starting point with flexibility)
Structured (a set pottery project created together)
Wherever we land, each guest is supported step-by-step to create something they’re genuinely proud of.
What to Expect
A two-hour guided handbuilding pottery workshop where guests create functional ceramic pieces—cups, bowls, platters, or something uniquely their own.
It’s creative, grounding, and very connective—making it a natural fit for:
Corporate team building and workplace wellbeing
Hens parties and kitchen teas
Birthday celebrations and group gatherings
Creative experiences and unique things to do near Canberra and Yass
Your pieces will stay behind for their glow-up—carefully glazed and kiln-fired—before being returned 6-8 weeks later, ready to be used, gifted, or kept.

Why a Pottery Workshop?
Because it offers something most events don’t.
A pottery workshop is a hands-on team-building activity that encourages:
Creativity and problem-solving
Conversation and collaboration
A slower, more mindful pace
And everyone leaves with something tangible—a handmade ceramic piece that becomes part of their everyday life.
The Part People Don’t Expect
It’s not just about what gets made.
It’s the slowing down.
The conversations that unfold.
The way people leave a little lighter than when they arrived.
And yes—morning coffee does taste better from a cup you made yourself. Probably science.
