WHOLESALE CHILDREN’S BOOKS AUSTRALIA

Gentle picture books for thoughtful little humans (and the grown-ups reading beside them)

There is a very specific kind of children’s book parents fall in love with. The one they reach for at bedtime without dread. The one that survives months of rereading, sticky fingers, and “just one more story” negotiations that somehow feel legally binding. The Blooming Hearts series was created to be that kind of book.

Written and artwork designed by heart in rural NSW, these Australian children’s books are designed to help little readers feel safe, connected, emotionally understood, and deeply loved — while also meeting parents and carers exactly where they are.

These stories are slower, softer, and more emotionally grounding than many modern picture books. No overstimulation. No frantic pacing. No random talking vegetables delivering motivational speeches at maximum volume. Just meaningful stories children genuinely connect with, and adults genuinely enjoy rereading, even after the forty-third consecutive night.

For retailers, libraries, schools, boutiques, and wellbeing spaces, the Blooming Hearts series offers something families are actively searching for: children’s books that support emotional wellbeing, encourage connection, and feel beautiful enough to gift and meaningful enough to keep. These books sit naturally in:

  • independent bookstores

  • boutiques and gift stores

  • museum and gallery shops

  • schools and libraries

  • early learning centres

  • therapy and wellbeing practices

  • florists and lifestyle stores

They are especially suited to spaces centred around thoughtful gifting, slow living, emotional wellbeing, creativity, and connection.

THE BLOOMING HEARTS SERIES

The Blooming Hearts series explores gratitude, emotional growth, belonging, resilience, wonder, and the beauty hidden inside ordinary moments. These stories are created for bedtime rituals, classroom reading corners, calm-down spaces, and the small moments between parent and child that often become lifelong memories. Most importantly, these books support not only children, but the adults raising them too. Because many parents are not simply raising children. They are also learning how to care for the younger versions of themselves at the same time. They are breaking cycles, trying their best, and occasionally hiding in the pantry to eat chocolate in peace for three minutes. The Blooming Hearts series was created with enormous compassion for that experience.

These books are not about raising perfect children. They are about helping families feel connected, capable, emotionally safe, and less alone.

CURRENT & FUTURE TITLES

Grateful — Book One

Grateful is a gentle story about noticing beauty in everyday moments and discovering joy in small things: nature, kindness, familiar routines, and feeling loved exactly as you are. Rather than delivering heavy-handed lessons, the story encourages emotional awareness through warmth, curiosity, and storytelling. It has become especially loved as a bedtime book because it helps create a sense of calm before sleep, which, as many parents know, can sometimes feel like negotiating with an overtired raccoon wearing Spider-Man pyjamas.

Bountiful — Book Two

Bountiful explores abundance, nourishment, generosity, belonging, and connection. At its heart, the story reminds children that a rich life is not built from endlessly wanting more, but from recognising what already surrounds us: love, imagination, family traditions, creativity, shared spaces, safety, and care. The story feels comforting and expansive all at once. Like sitting around a crowded table with people who make you feel entirely yourself. For children, Bountiful nurtures gratitude and emotional security. For adults, it often lands somewhere unexpectedly tender, too. Because sometimes children’s books remind grown-ups of things they also needed to hear.

Book Three — Coming Soon

Book Three is currently being created especially for children aged 2–4 years, while still carrying the emotional depth and warmth families will hold onto for years.

The kind of book that survives sticky fingers, enthusiastic page turning, and being confidently “read” upside down by a toddler who has absolutely decided they are now the storyteller.

At its heart, this next story is about emotional safety, empowerment, and connection — for children and for the parents raising them.

Because many parents are raising their inner children alongside their actual ones.

WHY THESE BOOKS SELL

Families are increasingly searching for children’s books that feel calmer, more meaningful, emotionally supportive, and less disposable.

Parents, grandparents, educators, therapists, and gift buyers are actively looking for:

  • Australian-made children’s books

  • gentle bedtime stories

  • books supporting emotional literacy

  • meaningful gifts for children

  • emotionally supportive picture books

And importantly: these are books adults genuinely enjoy rereading.

Which matters more than people admit.

Because when a book is read every night for six consecutive weeks, parents deserve a storyline that does not make them question every life choice that led them there.

MADE SLOWLY, NOT URGENTLY

Every piece goes through a long, handmade process: rolling, shaping, drying, refining, glazing, firing, sanding, washing, and occasionally me staring into the kiln like it’s a crystal ball. Because of this, most wholesale and custom orders take 6–8 weeks, depending on the quantity and level of customisation. If you have a deadline, include it in your enquiry, and I’ll always be honest about what’s possible.

Because people remember how something made them feel. A handmade cup feels different. It has weight to it. Tiny variations. Fingerprints of process.

ENQUIRE ABOUT WHOLESALE OR CUSTOM GIFTS

If you’ve made it this far, there’s a good chance you care deeply about creating a thoughtful experience for the people receiving these pieces. That matters to me too. This form simply helps me understand what you need, so I can recommend the best approach, timeline, and customisation options for your project. You do not need to have everything figured out yet. Truly. Some of the best projects begin with: “We have an idea…” or “So… this might sound strange, but…” Those are my favourite kinds.
