Pottery Workshop: Muddy Good Fun (Corporate/Special Events)
Private Pottery Workshops for Groups of 6–12
Laughter, clay, countryside views—and very good times.
Looking to add a little spark to your weekend getaway? Planning a birthday, hens, work do, or just a long-overdue catch-up with your favourite humans? Muddy Good Fun is the perfect blend of creativity, connection, and countryside charm—ideal for groups wanting something a little different (and a lot more muddy).
Hosted in my cosy, light-filled studio nestled among the rolling hills of Murrumbateman, this private 2-hour handbuilding pottery session is designed for groups of 6 to 12 people. Think wholesome chaos, lots of laughs, and a chance to truly switch off and reconnect—hands deep in clay, hearts full.
I’ll guide you through handbuilding techniques to make up to five small to medium pieces each. Trinket trays, bud vases, chunky tea cups, little sculptural keepsakes—you'll be surprised what your hands can do.
Prefer to skip the sculpting and dive straight into decorating?
No problem! Choose from a selection of premade plates, mugs or bowls and make them your own with hand-painting and surface decoration. Everyone can find their flow, no pressure.
If the weather’s just right, we might even take the session outdoors and enjoy the views with clay under our nails and fresh country air in our lungs. Light refreshments are provided throughout—because crafting is hungry work.
After the session, your creations will be glazed in a beautiful white or clear finish and ready for pickup in 4–6 weeks. Not local? No worries—they can be posted to you (shipping fee applies).
Got a bigger group or want me to come to you? Just get in touch—I'd love to tailor something muddy and magical just for your crew.
Muddy hands. Full hearts. Big fun.
Bookings are essential—gather your people and let’s make something lovely.

Why Pottery? Why Whistle & Page?
I’m so passionate about pottery because it’s more than just creating something beautiful – it’s a way to take a break from the chaos of daily life and focus on something grounding. Working with clay is incredibly therapeutic, tapping into all the creative parts of your brain while engaging the nerve endings in your hands. There’s something about the tactile experience of pottery that can help clear your mind, reduce stress, and bring a sense of calm. Plus, it’s addictive – once you start, you’ll want to keep coming back for more!
Whistle & Page is a place to slow down, indulge in a little creative escape, and experience the peaceful charm of country life. Just 25 minutes from Canberra, in the heart of the cool-climate wine country of Murrumbateman, it’s the perfect spot to treat yourself to something new. Whether you’re a visitor to the area or a local looking to get away from it all, my studio offers a warm, welcoming environment to nurture your creativity.
Let’s Get Started!
I’d love to help you discover the joy of pottery and the relaxation that comes with it. All of these workshops are designed with you in mind—to give you a chance to unwind, meet others, and leave with something beautiful that you’ve made yourself. They are about the experience, the fun, and the satisfaction of creating something by hand.
A Few Practical Details
All necessary materials and equipment will be provided for you during each session.
Any item that needs to be finished off by me will be glazed in a beautiful white overglaze and fired for you, ready for collection.
There will be an additional charge for shipping if you’d like your pottery items mailed.
Uncollected pieces must be collected or shipped within 6 weeks of the collection notification. After that, due to space limitations, I will unfortunately have to destroy uncollected pieces.
So, whether you’re coming from Canberra for a quick weekend escape, or you’re already exploring the local wineries, I’d love to welcome you to Whistle & Page. Indulge in some creative “me-time,” create something beautiful, and take home a piece of this tranquil country life with you. I can’t wait to share the magic of pottery with you – see you soon!
