Meet the Gingies: a wonderfully unconventional cast of handmade ceramic gingerbread ornaments, each with their own expression, outfit and very definite personality.
Made from raw, unglazed clay in my Murrumbateman studio, the collection features 12 characters that return each year. Some wear crowns, others sport sunnies, some are cheerleaders, and a few look like they've had quite enough of everyone's nonsense. Every Gingie has their own look and attitude, making choosing a favourite part of the fun.
Not all gingerbread people are here to spread Christmas cheer. Some think they're royalty, some are ready to rally the troops, and others would like a word with the manager.
Hang one on your Christmas tree, gift one to your favourite Christmas-loving troublemaker or start collecting the full cast over the years. With 12 familiar characters returning each season, the Gingies are little keepsakes with plenty of personality and a habit of making people smile.
