Handcrafted & One of a Kind

Each State of Love Dish is handmade with precision and care. Every curve of the state is carefully sculpted by hand to ensure that no two pieces are ever the same. Its unique shape and meaning make it a truly special addition to any wedding or celebration of love.

A Slow & Intentional Process

From the shaping of the state to the final glaze, every step in the creation of The State of Love Dish is thoughtful and deliberate:

  • Day 1-2: Rolling and shaping the clay to form the state of NSW, ensuring the curves are precise and the form reflects the state’s shape.

  • Day 3-4: Refining the shape and smoothing the edges, adding delicate finishing touches for a clean, polished design.

  • Day 5: Glazing the dish with a smooth, natural finish to enhance its beauty and highlight its unique form.

  • Day 6: Firing the dish to high temperatures to set the glaze and harden the clay.

  • Day 7: Sanding the base for a smooth, even finish and giving the dish a final soapy bath to reveal its true beauty.
