The Rain-Kissed Vase

$48.00

Like the forest after a storm, The Rain-Kissed Vase carries the richness of rain-soaked earth and mossy undergrowth. Handbuilt from deep, russet clay, its rounded form swells like a raindrop before flaring into a delicate, scalloped rim—each curve shaped by touch, not moulds. Cloaked in Petrichor, the signature Whistle & Page glaze, its glossy, moss-green surface glistens like damp leaves catching the morning light. At 7.5cm tall, with a flared 7cm opening and a grounded 5cm base, it cradles a handful of wildflowers, a single garden bloom, or nothing at all—beautiful in its sculptural presence. Weighing 285g and holding 120ml, it is a piece of the earth, kissed by rain, made just for you.

Handcrafted & One of a Kind

Every Rain-Kissed Vase is shaped entirely by hand, its curves formed with patience and instinct. No two are ever the same—each one carries the subtle marks of making, the story of clay transformed by fire.

A Slow & Intentional Process

Bringing this vase to life takes time—each step an act of care.

  • Day 1-2: Rolling and shaping the clay, coaxing out its gentle, rounded form.

  • Day 3-5: Slow drying under covers to prevent cracks, followed by the first refining touch.

  • Day 6-7: Smoothing, softening, and perfecting the scalloped rim.

  • Day 8-9: The first firing—where raw clay transforms into something strong and enduring.

  • Day 10-11: Hand-glazing with Petrichor, the signature Whistle & Page glaze, layering its rich, glossy green hues.

  • Day 12-14: The final high-temperature firing, where heat and flame work their alchemy.

  • Day 15: Sanding, a warm soapy bath, and then, finally, it’s ready for your home.
