The Golden Pasture Beaker

$58.00

This wheel-thrown beaker is the perfect companion for your everyday rituals. Crafted with a soft, golden brown glaze, it evokes the warmth and beauty of autumn's golden pastures. Handcrafted & One of a Kind

Each Golden Pasture Beaker is carefully wheel-thrown, with every curve shaped by hand. The dimples are deliberately formed, providing a secure grip that makes pouring effortless and controlled. The glaze, reminiscent of autumn’s soft golden light, brings warmth and richness to the vessel. Each beaker is unique, showcasing the harmony of nature and craftsmanship in every detail.

A Slow & Intentional Process

Each piece goes through a thoughtful process of creation:

  • Day 1: Wheel throwing and shaping the vessel by hand.

  • Day 2: Trimming, smoothing, and refining the edges for perfect pouring control.

  • Day 3-5: Hand-glazing with multiple layers to achieve the golden autumn hues.

  • Day 6-7: Firing in the kiln at over 1200°C for durability and strength.

  • Day 8: Sanding and a warm soapy bath to finish, ensuring a soft and inviting texture.

Acknowledgement of Country

At Whistle & Page, we respectfully acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the lands, skies, and waters where we live, work, and create — in particular, the Ngunnawal and Ngambri Peoples of the Yass Valley, NSW. We honour their enduring connection to Country, and pay deep respect to Elders past and present, as well as emerging leaders carrying stories, knowledge, and culture forward. We recognise the unbroken strength, creativity, and wisdom of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples, and the continuation of cultural, spiritual, and educational practices that have existed on this land for tens of thousands of years. Sovereignty was never ceded. This always was, and always will be, Aboriginal land.
