A Slow & Intentional Process
Like all Whistle & Page pieces, this vase is crafted through a detailed and thoughtful process:
Day 1-2: Rolling, shaping, and hand-building the vase into its bottle-like form with straight walls and a tapered top.
Day 3-5: Slow drying and refining the shape, allowing the glaze to settle perfectly.
Day 6-7: Applying the rich, brown glaze in layers to evoke the colours of autumn pastures.
Day 8-9: High-temperature firing to lock in the colour and finish.
Day 10: Sanding and a soapy bath to reveal its natural beauty, ready to hold your favourite blooms.
